Mobility for Large Families
Hi, I'm Lee "The Dad" of the two sets of Twins, or "Logistical Nightmares", as they are collectively known "Truth is I wouldn't change a thing."
In this section we thought we'd share with you some tips on the transport combinations we have tried in our quest to move our Twin family from A to B, including the issues four children, two of which are babies made to the mobility of our family in general.
When Twins arrive, particularly to a family with children already, you will be confronted with issues and constraints which you will not have been confronted with beforehand. Primarily, on how you are going to manage the logistics of moving your army of kids and equipment around. On this page and our blog category we will address some of these issues.
MPV's, Minivans and People Carriers
Choosing a suitable MPV, Minivan or People Carrier will be a task you will need to undertake early and cannot be left to the last minute. The previously used MPV market is quite competitive and the best vehicles get snapped up quick. If you are free from financial constraints you will have a greater choice, but you may still need to own two cars to cope with the needs of work and family.

Roof Boxes & Cargo Managment
Even with the additional space made available when you upgrade to a MPV, Minivan or People Carrier, you will without doubt need some extra space when traveling long distance, or for extended periods of time. Men, if you have a wife like mine a days outing turns into a major expedition, and trust me you will need the extra space. The only solution is "of course" the Roof Box or other smart alternative.

Outdoor Trailers, Joggers, Strollers
For any of you who wish to resume any form of outdoor lifestyle after your twins, multiples or other children are robust enough to venture further, and for you as a family to pursue more adventurous days out. Adding a Jogger / Trailer to your list of transportation accessories will ease this transition tenfold. Your average buggy / stroller is only good for so much. When there's just one adult, multiple kids, buckets, spades, picnics, sunshade, this "Rickshaw" for kids and everything else is a must.
