Twins Baby Toys

Tips for buying toys for twin babies.

  1. Keep things soft as not only do they accidentally bop themselves they bop their twin too!
  2. Buy toys that encourage interaction.
  3. Where possible buy similar rather than identical – provides variety.

Here are some of my recommendations.  Some our tried and tested by my own twins and other’s I think through my own experience as a mum of two sets of twins would be a good buy.

Activity Mats


Activity Mats and Gyms are great for twins especially if they are large enough for both babies.  They can explore the colours, patterns and textures together.

Lamaze Toys


We loved the Lamaze range of toys for our twins.  The bright colours, the textures, the patterns, the different creatures and animals.  You can hang them from pushchairs, car seats and there is such a huge selection to choose from.  Our girls loved the Emily Doll.

Activity Centres


When your twins get a bit older these activity centres are an invaluable asset for any twin mum.  Great for Twins if you have two different kinds.  You can swap them from one to the other for double the fun and they can chat and play alongside one another like two little scientists experimenting with everything!
